MEMBERSHIP:

The society shall consist of the following categories of members. And the minimum qualifications may be enrolled as members of the society

i. MBBS
ii. Post-graduation in Pharmacology (MPhil/ MD/FCPS/ PhD in Pharmacology)
iii. B. Pharma/ M.Pharma
iv. B.Sc. Nursing
v. BDS

Life Members: Persons with faith in the objectives of the society and work for it and pay subscription for the society once in a life time will be a life Member of the society

Ordinary Members: Persons with faith in the objectives of the society and work for it and pay once in a year will become an Ordinary Member of the society.

d. Honorary Members: These are include:
i. Distinguished in the field of Pharmacovigilance or allied discipline.
ii. Ordinary members on retiring from full time employment provided he/she had been a regular member for at least eight years immediately prior to retirement.

e. Benefactor members: They can be represented at assemblies by one specified person of their choice

f. Affiliate members: International organizations which have similar interests to the Society and wish to collaborate with the Society may become Affiliate Members.

g. Volunteer Members: Enthusiastic individuals committed to fulfillment the objectives of the society may be included by the Executive Committee to become Volunteer Member without voting right. No admission fee will be required

Membership fee & subscription:

i. The admission fee and the subscription shall be as under.

ii. Admission Fee (at the time of admission): TK. 200

iii. Annual Subscription monthly TK. 500.The membership fee/ annual subscription fee can be changed by the Executive committee of the Society as and when required

iv. Membership fees are paid in taka, on a yearly basis. Annual BSOP membership runs for a 12-month period, from the date of membership fee payment and ending 365 days from the payment date. Membership is renewable each calendar year.
